Understanding What You Read

Comprehension means understanding what you read. After reading a text, you should be able to answer questions about it. Think about who, what, where, when, and why. 🤔📖

Text: 'Tumi went to the shop. She bought bread and milk. She walked home in the rain.' Questions: • Who went to the shop? (Tumi) • What did she buy? (Bread and milk) • What was the weather like? (It was raining) 🌧️

Read the text more than once. Look at the questions, then go back to the text to find the answers. The answer is always in the text! Underline important words. 📝
