Our home should be a safe place, but there are some dangers we need to know about. When we learn about dangers, we can stay safe!

🔥 Fire and stoves — HOT! Never touch the stove. 🔌 Electricity — don't put fingers in plug sockets. 💊 Medicine — only take medicine from a grown-up. 🧴 Cleaning products — they are NOT drinks! ☠️ 🔪 Sharp objects — scissors and knives are for adults. 🛁 Water — never play alone near water.

Emergency Numbers

If there is an emergency, call for help! In South Africa 🇿🇦: 📞 10111 — Police 📞 10177 — Ambulance 📞 112 — Emergency from a cell phone Tell them your name and where you are!

If something feels dangerous, tell a grown-up right away! 🗣️ Never open the door for strangers. Know your home address and a parent's phone number. Stay safe! 🛡️
