Handwriting Practice

Form letters correctly with proper grip

Forming Letters ✏️

Now we learn to write letters! Each letter has a special way it is formed. We start at the right place and follow the path. Let's practice writing our letters neatly.
Example

Let's Write!

Letter 'a': start in the middle, go around like a circle, then add a tail going down ⬇️ Letter 'm': start at the top, go down, up over the hill, down, up over another hill, down 🏔️🏔️ Letter 's': start at the top, curve like a snake 🐍

Good Writing Habits

Sit up tall 🪑, feet flat on the floor. Hold the pencil gently with your thumb and two fingers ✌️. Put your other hand on the paper to keep it still. Take your time!
Note

Remember

Practice makes progress! ⭐ Write your name every day. Start each letter from the correct place. Try to keep your letters on the line. It's okay if it's not perfect — keep trying!
