Self-Awareness

Understand personal strengths, weaknesses and values

Knowing Yourself

Self-awareness means understanding who you are — your strengths, weaknesses, likes, and dislikes. Everyone is unique and has special talents. Knowing yourself helps you make good choices and feel confident.
Example

Discovering Your Strengths

Think about what you are good at: Are you a fast runner? Good at drawing? Kind to others? Good at maths? Write down three things you are proud of. Now think of one thing you would like to improve — that is a growth area, not a weakness!
Note

Remember

Nobody is good at everything, and that is okay. Focus on your strengths while working to improve your growth areas. Comparing yourself to others is not helpful — your journey is your own.
