Who Is in a Family?
A family is a group of people who love and care for each other. Families can include mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Every family is different and special.

Sipho lives with his mother and grandmother. Amina lives with both parents and her two brothers. Lerato lives with her aunt and cousins. All of these are families that love and look after each other.

Remember
Family members have different roles. Parents and caregivers keep children safe, provide food, and help them learn. Children help by being kind and doing small tasks at home.
