Reading Aloud

Read simple texts aloud with understanding

Reading Aloud

Reading aloud means we say the words in a book out loud so everyone can hear. We look at each word carefully and say it. When we read aloud, we use our best voice — not too fast and not too slow! 📖
Example

Let's Try!

Read this sentence out loud: 'The cat sat on the mat.' Point to each word as you say it. Did you read every word? Well done! 🐱
Note

Remember

Use your finger to follow the words. Start on the left side and move to the right. When you get to the end of a line, go to the next line. Read clearly so your friends can understand you! 👆
