Phonics helps us read! Every letter makes a sound. When we put sounds together, we make words. For example: c-a-t = cat 🐈. We blend the sounds together smoothly.

Top Tip

Say each sound slowly first, then say the whole word faster. If you get stuck, start with the first sound and add one sound at a time. Practice makes perfect! ⭐
