Effective Study Methods
Different study methods work for different people. Active study techniques — like summarising, making mind maps, and testing yourself — are more effective than passive reading. Planning a study timetable helps manage workload and reduce exam stress.
Example
Study Techniques
SQ3R: Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review. Mind maps: put the main topic in the centre and branch out with key points. Flashcards: write a question on one side and the answer on the other. Teach someone else — explaining a topic proves you understand it.
Note
Remember
Study in short sessions (30-45 minutes) with breaks in between. Get enough sleep before exams — a tired brain cannot recall information well. Read exam questions carefully and plan your answers before writing.
Key Vocabulary
