Plan and run a mini-business

Running a Mini-Business

The best way to learn about business is to DO it. A mini-business project lets you experience every part: planning, buying stock, marketing, selling, keeping records and calculating profit. You learn from real decisions and real consequences.
Example

Mini-Business Project

Steps: 1. Identify a need (what will you sell?) 2. Research: who are your customers? What will they pay? 3. Plan: how much stock? What are your costs? 4. Start-up: buy materials, set up 5. Sell: for at least 1-2 weeks 6. Record: write down all sales and expenses daily 7. Report: calculate profit, reflect on what you learned Ideas: popcorn, juice, crafts, car wash, tutoring
Note

Remember

A mini-business teaches real skills: planning, decision-making, money management, communication and problem-solving. Even if you don't make big profits, the LEARNING is valuable. Reflect honestly: what worked? What would you change? This is how real entrepreneurs grow.
