Persuasive Writing

Write persuasive texts with supporting arguments

What is Persuasive Writing?

Persuasive writing tries to convince the reader to agree with your opinion. You give reasons and arguments to support your point of view. Good persuasive writing uses facts, examples, and strong language.
Example

Persuasive Paragraph

Topic: Schools should have longer break times. 'I believe schools should have longer break times. Firstly, learners need time to run around and exercise, which helps them concentrate in class. Secondly, children need time to eat properly and not rush. Finally, longer breaks allow friends to play together, which builds social skills. For these reasons, longer breaks are better for everyone.'
