Numbers to 50

Count, read and write numbers up to 50

Numbers from 1 to 50

We can count all the way from 1 to 50! After 20 we keep going: 21, 22, 23 ... up to 50. Each group of ten has a name: 10 (ten), 20 (twenty), 30 (thirty), 40 (forty), 50 (fifty).
Example

Counting in Tens

🔟🔟🔟🔟🔟 — Count by tens: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50! If you have 3 groups of ten and 4 extra: that is 34. 2 groups of ten and 7 extra: that is 27.

Tens and Ones

Every number has tens and ones. The number 35 has 3 tens and 5 ones. The number 42 has 4 tens and 2 ones. This is called place value!
Example
